Description

LEGACY JOURNEY was born from the convergence of contemporary travel and a new awareness of the world. We live in an era marked by profound transformations: social upheavals, environmental fragility, emerging inequalities, geopolitical shifts, and communities called upon to face increasingly complex challenges every day. In this context, travel can transcend the realm of mere discovery to become an experience, a connection, and a conscious act of participation. Legacy Journey interprets this evolution through exclusive, tailor-made itineraries, where comfort, authenticity, and quality of service coexist with carefully curated opportunities for connection, learning, and making a tangible contribution to local communities.

It’s not about giving up on the value of high-end hospitality, but about giving it a more contemporary meaning. Staying at exceptional properties, discovering extraordinary regions, and enjoying private experiences can go hand in hand with the opportunity to learn about social, environmental, educational, or conservation projects developed directly in those destinations. The traveler thus becomes part of a broader narrative, in which the privilege of the experience also translates into a greater awareness of the context surrounding the journey.

Legacy Journey is the luxury of being able to choose not only where to go, but what legacy to leave behind. A way of traveling deeply rooted in the contemporary world, designed for those who consider time, knowledge, and the ability to contribute to be among the most authentic forms of value.

Magen David Adom – Volunteer Mission in Israel

November 1–8, 2026 | Bespoke Travel with Purpose

Legacy Journey was born from the convergence of contemporary travel and a new awareness of the world. In an era marked by profound social, cultural, and geopolitical transformations, traveling can mean not only discovering a destination but also understanding its reality, meeting its people, and dedicating part of one’s time to an experience capable of creating value.

From November 1 to 8, 2026, Legacy Journey is offering a tour of Israel centered on Magen David Adom (MDA)—Israel’s national emergency medical service—in which volunteer work, training, local knowledge, and firsthand accounts come together to create an itinerary of profound human significance.

The experience offers a hands-on look at MDA’s work through volunteer opportunities, meetings with staff and local communities, visits to the operations centers and the Blood Bank, as well as a course on how to use a defibrillator. At the same time, the trip takes participants through some of Israel’s most significant regions: from Galilee and the Golan Heights to Jerusalem, from Sderot and the southern communities to Tel Aviv and Jaffa.

THE PROGRAM

Day 1 – Ben Gurion | Tiberias
Arrival at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, meet your Italian guide, and transfer to Tiberias. Hotel check-in and a welcome from Magen David Adom . Dinner and overnight at the kibbutz hotel.

Day 2 – Volunteering | Northern Galilee and Golan Heights
The day introduces the project’s scope directly with a morning dedicated to volunteering. This will be followed by a meeting with the Druze members of MDA and lunch with the community. The tour continues to Majdal Shams , with a visit to the site of the massacre of Druze children, before transferring to Jerusalem.

Day 3 – Volunteering | Jerusalem, Old and New City
A morning of volunteering and a visit to the MDA operations center. Afterward, an encounter with the history and spiritual dimension of Jerusalem through the Old City and the Jewish and Christian quarters. The evening will be free, with the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Mahane Yehuda Market .

Day 4 – Volunteering | Southern Israel | Tel Aviv
One of the most intense days of the trip. Volunteering in Sderot and a firsthand account from an MDA paramedic about his experience on October 7, 2023. The itinerary includes the police station, the soldiers’ memorial in Nahal Oz, the Reim Forest, the car memorial in Tkuma, and a meeting with residents of Kibbutz Be’eri. In the evening, transfer to and overnight stay in Tel Aviv.

Day 5 – Blood Bank | Peres Center | Jaffa
Volunteer at the Ramle Blood Bank , followed by a visit to the Peres Center , a space dedicated to the Startup Nation and Israeli technological innovation. In the afternoon, explore the Jaffa flea market and enjoy dinner in the Old City.

Day 6 – Volunteering in Ashdod | Tel Aviv by Night
Transfer to Ashdod for an activity at the MDA headquarters and participation in a course on how to use a defibrillator. Return to Tel Aviv, free time, and, in the evening, Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 – Tel Aviv | The White City
Shabbat will be spent on a cultural walking tour of Tel Aviv. Lunch and the afternoon are free to explore the city on your own. In the evening, we’ll have our final dinner in downtown Tel Aviv, a chance to come together and reflect on our shared experience.

Day 8 – Tel Aviv | Departure
Final stroll through the Shuk HaCarmel, one of the city’s most iconic markets. Lunch on your own, followed by a transfer to the airport for the return flight to Italy.

A JOURNEY THAT LEAVES A MARK

Legacy Journey views volunteer work not as a mere side note to the trip, but as an integral part of a contemporary experience rooted in presence, knowledge, and responsibility. Encounters with those who work daily on the front lines of emergencies, with diverse communities, and with places marked by recent history offer a way to understand Israel from a perspective that is rarely accessible to the traditional traveler.

It is a journey in which value is measured not only by the destination reached, but by the quality of the encounters and the awareness that remains upon returning.

LEGACY JOURNEY – Bespoke Travel with a Purpose
The privilege of traveling. The value of participating. The responsibility to remember.

The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. The trip will take place only if at least 20 participants sign up by September 30, 2026.
